Woodland's Edge - Obscure Subterranean Origins

Never heard of this band (one guy to be precise) before and I got this disc passed by my friend Ruslanas. In the colored xeroxed cover there was an inlay sheet that reminds of the old thrash days, also if you see the names in the thanxlist. But what you hear is a strange mix of styles. Hard to put a label on. Or will you call it a very raw form of black metal? Sometimes aggressive and sometimes lounging. Most of the time instrument and suddenly some deep vocals. After listened to the disc twice I still don't know what to think of it. Maybe if you are in psychadelic mood you will like it a lot.

1. 1945 dawn of fate
2. Beneath the ice remains
3. Cauldron of dissolution
4. Sad eyes of the woodland’s egde
5. Even in my dying throes
6. Where prairies once stood
7. Revival
8. After lightning splits the birch
9. Last of the vanishing prairie
10. Obscure subterranean
