Zombified - Outbreak

This is the debut EP from Belfast's Zombified, these guys boast Pete Clarke as a lead singer. Pete also provides vocals for another Belfast band Condemned. Whilst Condemned draw influence from all over, Zombfied are straight up old school death metal and this EP rules.

Every instrument has room to breathe on this release  and the only interruption in the brutality is the odd sample which only serve to add to the offering. There is absolutely no filler on here, quality brutality from beginning to end.

The sleeve has a guy on there in a denim vest with a Morbid Angel patch on there, that should be a hint as to what to expect. These guys wear their hearts on their sleeves and you have to love them for it because they do it so well and are never boring.  If you are into old school death metal in the vein of early Cannibal Corpse, then this is the band for you.

The only drawback with this release is that it is not a full length album. If the material on display here is anything to go by, the debut full length record will rule.
